Hey There! I'm Amber Hale. I am a Holistic Health Coach who helps busy women and men jumpstart their fat loss and fix their digestion through eating whole foods and daily detoxification.

You have the burning desire to live a healthy life, eat delicious foods that aren't going to pack on the pounds, and have your friends all tell you how amazing you look. But you are tired of trying failed diet after failed diet. You feel bloated after eating many of your favorite foods. And you are just OVER IT!

You don't want to have to listen to another person tell you which fad diet or weight loss pill is going to magically fix all of your health problems. You need someone to help you to STOP the dieting madness once and for all by supporting you as you switch over to healthy whole foods that will boost your weight loss and get rid of the bloat.

Amber Hale

Well, you are in luck, my friend. Because that is exactly what I do!

I teach my clients to ditch the diet mentality and instead listen to their bodies to discover the foods that work for them rather than against them. I show them that eating delicious whole foods will nourish their bodies, allowing them to manage weight by taming pesky food cravings, improving digestion, and easily deal with food allergies and sensitivities.

I grew up in sunny Jacksonville, FL and lived in beautiful Brooklyn, NY for over 8 years. Now as of March 2017 we took Awakened Nutrition & Training on the road to Denver, Colorado where Chris grew up.

When I first moved to NYC, I was a vegetarian and the heaviest I had weighed in my life. I met Chris, the love of my life, while working at a hotel in lower Manhattan. By this time, I had started eating meat again, but my diet was far from healthy. Chris was a personal trainer, and I eventually gained the courage to ask him for help with my weight.

Chris explained the importance of a healthy diet which consisted of having protein, healthy fats and complex carb with every meal, and advised me to eat 5 to 6 meals per day. This wasn’t like the diets I was used to where I starved myself and expected quick weight loss results. This was a healthy way of eating where I could expect gradual and safe weight loss. He helped me to get over my fears of getting "bulked up" in the gym and soon I fell in love with weight training.

I took all of the wonderful information he gave me, as well as additional information I found around the web and started on a NEW journey. I eventually lost 17lbs and completely reshaped my body!

In July 2011, I started my blog Exsoycise and started to share my soy-free health and fitness journey. My goal has been to show others that eating healthy foods does not have to be difficult or boring; it can be an easy process and taste delicious at the same time! I also hope to encourage more women to conquer their fears and get into the weight room to build the body of their dreams. Over the two years of blogging, I realized that I wanted to do so much more than just blog about my own health and fitness journey. Comments and emails started pouring in from various social media websites, and I started receiving text messages from friends, everyone was asking me for health, fitness and weight loss tips. I realized that without even knowing it, I was a health coach!  I knew my passion alone did not qualify me to be a health coach and because I wanted to have the chance to help even more people achieve their health goals, I decided it was time to go back to school!

In 2013, I received my certification as a Holistic Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. During my training, I studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. My teachers included Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr. Deepak Chopra, the leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center; Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University; Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating; and many other leading researchers and nutrition authorities.

My education has equipped me with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and preventive health. Drawing on these skills and my knowledge of different dietary theories, I help people just like you to create a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits their unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals. I work with my clients to help them make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results.

I am so happy that I have found my true life passion in helping others reach their health goals! I not only get to help others achieve their dreams but I've also had the amazing opportunity to partner with my true love Chris. Together we've been able to provide our clients with complete nutrition and online personal training programs to take them to the next level in achieving their goals!
